Common: The language the covers a majority of the continent. Based on a number of human languages, and adopted by most cultures as a universal trade language.
Draconic: The language of Dragons, Kobolds and Draconics. Descends from Old Tounge
Druidic: A secret language spoken only by druids.
Dwarven: The dwarven language has changed little. The sort spoken by modern dwarves and Citadel dwarves is almost the same with only a few regional differences.
Gnomish: With most creatures continent wide understanding common Gnomish has become a second secret merchant tongue. Has become known as the language of money.
Gob Pidgin: A common tongue of uncivilized races. The “scholars” in any large gathering of orcs, goblins, gnolls, giants and the like will probably speak this language.
Halfling: Spoken primarily by halflings. Due to their gypsy like nature this is the second most commonly known tongue among wildmen and travellers.
Lunar: An ancient language spoken by evil deities and their worshippers. All demonic and infernal creatures speak it, and consider it sacred.
Oceanic: Any ship traveling the seas will have at least one sailor who speaks the common sea language of merfolk.
Old tongue: The eldest of the spoken languages. Wizards find that magic flows easier through its ancient words. The older a race lives the more likely they are to speak it.
Orcish: Orc tongue has been adopted for use by thugs.
Solar: A holy language spoken in a long forgotten kingdom. Used by celestials of all varieties.
Sylvan: The language of the forests. It has much in common with druidic and is spoken by elves, faries, treants and the like
